Jesús Merino signs exclusivity with DC

My friend Jesús Merino, current inker of Carlos Pacheco, has recently signed an exclusivity contract with DC comics. Jesús has been the inker for Avengers Forever, Arrowsmith, JLA JSA Virtue and Vice and many other Marvel and DC projects penciled by spanish superstar Carlos Pacheco. By his side Jesús Merino is also an artist (besides inker, I mean), and he is very well known to the spanish readers. He's been doing a bunch of covers for Marvel and DC characters in their spanish versions; Black Panther and Conan, to name two of them. He was also full artist for some spanish series released in the late 90s. Here I add you a couple covers by him. These are direct color, no computer art; paintings!!

Conan-Queen of the Black Coast

I'm a big fan to Conan comics (comics, films, novels, etc). I recently found out about what appears to be the fist Conan comic ever published. It was in Mexico in a kids magazine clled "Cuentos de Abuelito" (The Grandpa Tales). This is the cover for Queen of the Black Coast in Cuentos de abuelito.

Comics documentary

Today I'm moving to Madrid in order to be interviewed for a documentary about comic creators. This documentary (I guess) will be later released in festivals and sold to some TV channels...
